Standard porta potty
$125 to $250 a weekend
Milwaukee, WI
Milwaukee Porta Pros is a sanitation and site services company working across Milwaukee and the surrounding communities in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. We rent portable restrooms, restroom trailers, handwashing stations, roll-off dumpsters, storage containers and temporary fencing, and we pump septic and holding tanks. This page explains what we stock, how we spec a job and how to get a straight number on price without sitting through a sales pitch.
The core product is the standard porta potty rental, the plain unit built around a 60 to 70 gallon holding tank, with a base about 44 inches square and a height of about 92 inches. From there the catalog steps up to the deluxe flushable porta potty, which carries a 15 to 20 gallon fresh water reservoir, and the ADA accessible porta potty for sites that need a wider door and room to turn. Bigger guest counts move into the luxury restroom trailer and our other trailer configurations. On the waste side we run roll-off dumpster rental in 10, 20, 30 and 40 yard sizes, plus septic pumping for tanks around the county.
General contractors, remodelers, event organizers, property managers, farms and homeowners all book from the same fleet. A single unit parked behind a house in Wauwatosa gets the same service schedule as a multi-unit bank on a commercial build in West Allis. We also cross the county line for work in New Berlin, which sits in Waukesha County and sets its own local rules. The full list of towns we cover, with drive distances, lives on the service areas page.

Two references do most of the work. OSHA 1926.51(c)(1) sets the construction floor at one toilet for 20 or fewer workers, then one toilet seat and one urinal per 40 workers above 20. Events run on a different clock, closer to the ANSI/PSAI Z4.3 baseline of one unit per ten workers over a 40 hour week with one service visit. Those two numbers rarely match what a job actually feels like, so we ask about crew size, shift length, guest turnover and how far the walk is. The how many porta potties do I need page walks through the arithmetic.

Accessible units are specified against the 2010 ADA Standards, which call for a 60 inch turning space under section 304.3 and a 32 inch clear door opening under section 404.2.3. Handwashing is its own requirement: OSHA 1926.51(f)(1) requires washing facilities on construction sites, which is why a handwashing station rental is often quoted alongside the toilets rather than as an afterthought. If you want the detail before you book, read ADA restroom requirements.

Milwaukee sits on Lake Michigan and the winters are genuinely cold, cold enough that an untreated tank can freeze solid and stop taking waste. From roughly November through March we switch to a winter tank treatment and adjust service routing so units stay usable through a freeze. Long construction phases that run across a winter are usually cheaper on a monthly porta potty rental than on repeated short bookings, and the porta potty in winter guide covers what changes on site.
You get a delivery window, a placement plan and a service interval. Delivery typically runs $50 to $150 depending on distance and access, and routine weekly service runs $30 to $60 per unit. Placement on private property needs no permit. Placement in the public right of way in Milwaukee may require a permit from the City of Milwaukee, so we flag that before the truck rolls rather than after. See porta potty permit requirements for how that process works and where the unit should actually sit.
If you already know the unit type and the dates, send the details through request a quote and we will price it against your real duration instead of a generic rate card. If you are still working out what the site needs, or you want to talk through access, service frequency and permits first, reach us through contact.
