Terms and Conditions

These terms describe how Milwaukee Porta Pros quotes, delivers and services equipment, and what we each agree to when you book. They apply alongside the rental agreement you sign for a specific job. Where the signed agreement and this page disagree, the signed agreement controls.

Quotes and Booking

A quote we send through request a quote is based on the information you give us: unit or container type, quantity, service address, duration and access. If any of that changes, the price can change with it. A quote is not a reservation until we confirm the dates back to you. Rates quoted for a standard porta potty rental or a roll-off dumpster rental cover the equipment and the agreed service schedule, and delivery is quoted separately because it depends on distance and site access.

Your Responsibilities on Site

You are responsible for the placement location and for making sure we can reach it. That means a firm, reasonably level surface, a clear approach for the truck and overhead clearance free of low branches and utility lines. You confirm that you have the right to place equipment where you have asked us to place it, whether that is your own property or a site you control. If the driver arrives and cannot place the equipment safely, that counts as a failed delivery and we will need to reschedule. Our porta potty placement guide covers what a workable spot looks like.

Who Handles Permits?

Placement on private property does not require a permit. Placement in the public right of way in Milwaukee, meaning the street, the parking lane or the sidewalk, may require a permit from the City of Milwaukee, and obtaining it is your responsibility unless we have agreed in writing to handle it. Jobs outside city limits follow their own municipality's rules, which is why a job in New Berlin, a separate city in Waukesha County, is not automatically covered by a Milwaukee approval. See porta potty permit requirements and dumpster permit requirements for the detail.

Use, Care and Prohibited Materials

Equipment stays our property throughout the rental. Do not move, modify, paint or dismantle it, and do not overload a container past the fill line or its weight rating. Prohibited materials, including tires, batteries, paint, solvents, fuel, asbestos and appliances holding refrigerant, must not be placed in a container; see what cannot go in a dumpster and dumpster weight limits. Normal wear during ordinary use is on us. Damage, loss or contamination caused by misuse, vandalism or prohibited materials is on you, and will be charged at the actual cost of repair, cleaning or replacement.

Service, Rental Periods and Changes

Rentals run for the period agreed at booking, whether that is a weekend, a week or a full construction phase on a monthly porta potty rental. Routine service happens on the schedule we set with you, based on expected use. If usage is heavier than described, extra visits may be needed and will be quoted before they happen. From roughly November through March, Milwaukee winters can affect access and service timing, and we may adjust routing to keep units usable in a freeze. Cancellations, date changes and early pickups should come to us as far ahead as you can manage, through contact.

Payment

Charges, deposits and payment timing are set out in your quote and rental agreement, not on this page. Extra charges can arise from failed deliveries, overweight or contaminated loads, extended rental days beyond the agreed term, or additional service visits, and we will tell you the basis for any of them.

Liability

We are responsible for delivering and servicing the equipment competently. We are not responsible for damage to driveways, lawns, irrigation or underground utilities resulting from placing equipment where you directed us. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Wisconsin law.

Governing Law and Changes to These Terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. We may revise this page as our services change, and the revision date at the top will change with it. Your booking is governed by the version in force when you booked.

If anything here is unclear, or you want to talk through how it applies to a specific job, reach us through contact before you book, or send the job details through request a quote. Related pages: privacy policy, about Milwaukee Porta Pros and the FAQ.
